Gwen McEwen, General Manager and co-founder

Gwen McEwen runs the business side of Cubicle42. She has had several different careers over the years, including working as a programmer, an elementary school teacher and an events co-ordinator.  She has a keen interest in how we think and learn, and how technology can help us do both. She holds both a B.Admin and a B.Ed. from the University of Ottawa.

Shawn Millin, Lead Developer and co-founder

Shawn Millin is the main architect and lead developer for Cubicle42. He has been working in IT and software development for over 20 years. He has built systems in a wide range of industries, from finance to telecom to healthcare. For most of the past decade, Shawn has been focused on product management and development in the healthcare field, specifically electronic medical records. He has been building web applications since the early days, and now works with open source tools and technologies to build applications that run in the "cloud". He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, and an M.B.A. from the University of Ottawa.
